Calendly alternative for businesses that assign work

Your clients book themselves — and your crew actually answers.

  • Free for your calendar — $19 for the crew loop
  • No card to start
  • On your calendar in under 5 minutes

Calendly is good at what it does

  • A booking link that shows your real availability, so clients pick a slot without the email volley.
  • Round-robin scheduling for teams that pass clients around.
  • A polished booking flow clients already recognize.
  • Integrations with the tools you already use.

None of that is the problem. The problem is what a booked slot leaves out: it books time with you — not a job for one of your people, with an answer and proof at the end of it. If your bookings are meetings, Calendly is the right tool. If your bookings are work, keep reading.

Calendly answers "when can we talk?" CalenDawn answers "who is doing the job, did they say yes, and is it done?" Different questions.

Our numbers are current as of November 1, 2026. Their numbers change without warning, and a stale one would be a lie with our name on it — every competitor figure we print anywhere links to its source and carries the date we checked it.

When to pick which

Calendly is the right pick if:

  • Your bookings are conversations — sales calls, consults, one-on-ones.
  • Nobody has to show up with a truck, a mop, or a ladder.
  • You want the booking flow your prospects already know.

CalenDawn is the right pick if:

  • A booked slot means work one of your people has to do.
  • You need each person to accept the job — and you need to know who hasn't.
  • The client should see the job was done, not just that it was scheduled.
  • Your crew should not need accounts to be part of the schedule.

Plenty of businesses run both: Calendly for the sales call, CalenDawn for everything that happens after the client says yes.

Questions people ask next

Is CalenDawn really free?

Yes, for your calendar, and there is no card involved. One person, every view, unlimited events, nothing metered. Pro is $19 a month when your crew shows up: assignment, the crew portal, proof, the booking page and the Messaging Center.

How much does Calendly cost?

Calendly changes its tiers and prices without warning, and a stale number here would be a lie with our name on it — check their pricing page for today's figures. The question worth asking either way is not the monthly number. It is whether your bookings are meetings or jobs.

Calendly: Free / $10 / $16 per seat, billed annually. Source, checked November 1, 2026.

What does CalenDawn cost by comparison?

Free for your calendar. $19 a month for you and up to 2 people, or $49 for up to 10. Your crew uses a private link, so you are not paying per seat for the people who do the work.

Do my crew need CalenDawn accounts?

No. Each person gets a private portal link. They see only the jobs assigned to them, accept or decline, and send proof when it is done.

Can I bring my existing calendar?

Yes. Paste an iCal link from Google, Outlook, Apple or Yahoo and everything you already have appears. Subscribed feeds stay read-only, so nothing you do here changes the original.

What happens if I upgrade, then cancel?

You keep Pro until the date you have paid through, then the account goes back to Free. Nothing is deleted.
